Why Uganda?

On September 9th, 2013 I’ll be headed out on my next big adventure – Uganda!

I have been given the incredible opportunity to return to Uganda, Africa for five months this fall to serve alongside Kyampisi Childcare Ministries.  In the summer of 2012, I was blessed with the to chance to lead a team of high school girls to work at this ministry and I knew it would not be my last time with them.  This time, I will be in Uganda from September through January and will be specifically working with KCM on their campaign to end child sacrifice.  This will entail a lot of advocacy work and helping the families in need in the area.

My fundraising goal for this trip is $5,000.

This will cover my lodging at the ministry, flights to and from the country, visa, and pile of malaria pills I’ll be required to take with me.  I know that God has called me back to this beautiful country and has great plans in store, but this won’t happen without your help! Donating is simple.  Just click on the link below to begin the donation process.  Every dollar helps and put me one step closer to being able to serve as the hands and feet of Christ in this beautiful country.
